An artist’s eye informs my approach to Interior Design. Visualization and spatial organization lend strength to my projects. Our homes should meet our basic needs simply and elegantly, but also nourish us. Within the home, curating as well as editing are import aspects of the design journey.

I seek to explore with a client a philosophy of living that incorporates a more organized and meaningful use of space and objects. Curation is a fluid working process, establishing the needs of the client or family, and determining how to elevate and enrich those spaces for both practical use and inspiring aesthetics. Simplification is often part of this process. Objects of humble origin may receive as much prominence as objects of great value. The emotional aspect of a project is as important as the aesthetic appeal, and deserves exploration for connection. I look for interesting dialogue in spaces, creating a tension and balance that resonates on an emotional level. Good design has a natural authenticity — materials that are real and age gracefully, lighting that is functional yet beautiful, forms that flow from their respective functions, art for both its elegance and transcendent connection. A home should not be static but evolve with time and taste.
